The Core Report I

This week’s tip for lasso? Check out the Core Report, Will’s newsletter that just went out through lasso. Will and Dagley produced a great newsletter to send out to his subscribers. It shows great market education, lifestyle features, and subtle selling skills. Need help developing your newsletter? Join Viv and I on Tuesday at 3:30. We can help you with targeting, messaging, and formatting. We are looking forward to everybody being able to professionally communicate with their tribes (group of people, large of small, who are connected to one another, a leader, and an idea). This kind of communication, when done properly and regularly, will lead to an increase in your sales, new referrals, and better connect you to your current clients. Start your’s today!

Duplicate entries

Team –

I’m taking time this week to start weeding through duplicate entries in our lasso system. There are a lot. During this process you may get emails from lasso with a message of “registrant assigned”. This is just a result of me merging records so we only have one record per person. Technically, the new registrant being assigned is a compilation of the duplicates.

Where’s the tip?

Everybody in the office has inputted (at least a portion of) their databases into lasso. That’s good news. The first step is getting organized, gathering as much information as possible, and putting that information into lasso. In order to get the max use out of this information that you’ve collected, periodically you need to go through your information and clean it out. That’s what I’m doing now on a macro level. Cleaning out duplicate records so we aren’t sending the same information to the same person repeatedly, over and over (it feels like that last sentence…repetitive).

Take your database and regularly scrub the contacts and information in there. Re-evaluate the ratings you’ve assigned to prospects and the action plans that you have associated with them. Run reports on your database to figure out how often you are actually communicating with your prospects. I bet there is room in there for more consistent communication and sometimes it takes a report to find it.

You should feel good about compiling and entering your database…but only for a minute. Its now time to use it!

Get more from lasso (you deserve it)

I’m noticing increasing activity from some of our dormant lasso users that’s great. If you are using lasso you are joining a set of agents in our office that are more productive and earn more than the rest of the market month after month. I wanted to share two quick tips to help you get more from your usage of lasso.

The first is “activities”: Activities allow you to manage your schedule and tasks more efficiently. Do you find yourself sending the same email to new clients? Or making the same phone calls? Activities allow you place items on your to do list and then let lasso remind you about them effortlessly. You can even have lasso send your “new client email” for you with just two clicks in the system. We are all busy and reminders are a great way to make sure we get everything done. Click the link below to launch a short learning session about this subject:

I also wanted to follow-up to last week’s email about groups with an example. I shared Roland’s success with groups in last weeks email and I wanted to give you a visual sense of what he’s doing.

The man has over 30 groups of contacts and he’s ready to communicate targeted information to each of them whenever the situation arises. That is efficiency and productivity waiting to happen.

If you need help getting the most out of your lasso, LET ME KNOW. I’m here to help, coach, train, and help you produce more.

The power of lasso (my groups)

Last week I sent out a link to a video about custom lists. This week I want to highlight the “my groups” function of lasso. With groups you can keep a set of people statically connected to each other. Roland is using groups to keep people interested in each of his listings together. This will allow him to email updates about his listings (like price changes, open houses, etc.) to a specific set of people who have expressed interest in the property. It’s a great tool that you should be using along with the rest of lasso. If you need more information about what “my groups” is or how to use this feature, please follow this link:

Also, if you don’t yet believe in the power of lasso, just watch what Roland was able to do after using lasso for just a few hours:

What will you be able to do?

Custom Lists

One of the products that sets our office apart from the rest of the pack is lasso. Today, I want to share a video with you from lasso concerning custom lists. This is one of the best tools to get the most functionality out of lasso. We all have large databases with tons of information stored in them. With custom lists, you are able to sort through your database, making sense of all of that data, fairly simply.

So go on and try it, click on the link, and brush up on your lasso knowledge:

I’d like to recognize Teala and Amy for consistently using lasso to communicate with clients. I’d also like to recognize these two for adding history of that communication into lasso. Great job guys!

Please let me know how I can help you grow your lasso expertise. I’m available for quick tips as well as training on the system.
